At Cannon Baptist Church, we cherish opportunities to come together as a church family, and our Dinner on the Grounds is a beloved tradition. Held every fifth Sunday immediately following the Worship Service, this special event is a time of fellowship, delicious food, and meaningful connection.

Everyone is welcome to join us—whether you’re a longtime member or visiting for the first time. This is potluck style, so bring a dish to share, or simply come and enjoy the warm hospitality that make Cannon Baptist Church feel like home!

When: The first Sunday of each month at 1:30 PM

Where: Meadowbrook Nursing Home, Van Alstyne, TX

Cannon Baptist Church is dedicated to sharing God’s love beyond the walls of the church, and our Meadowbrook Nursing Home Ministry is a special part of that mission. On the first Sunday of every month, we visit the residents of Meadowbrook Nursing Home to provide encouragement, fellowship, and spiritual care.

During our time together, we share God’s Word, sing hymns, and spend meaningful moments with the residents, reminding them that they are loved and valued. This ministry is open to everyone who has a heart for serving others. Join us as we bring hope and joy to the lives of those in our community!
